It is a PPI claims company. They were very persistant when I spoke to them. I asked them to stop calling, but they have continued. Blocking the mumber is complicated by the fact that they use several lines, so the last 4 digits keep changing.

01986684739 Caller (Paul Smith) with a very strong indian accent, claimed to be from Virgin Media technical team - did not do any security. Asked me what colour light was on WiFi box. I asked him why no security? He said he was regulated by OFCOM and not allowed to take any personal details. I Played them at their own game. After falling victim to their sleazy call I paid them £358 via C/card. After several months hearing sweet FA. I called my c/card company to complain. After just two months the c/card company refunded me the whole amount. Oh bye the way they achieved this by applying to Scarletts bank account for the refund. The law says if they dont oppose the action by the credit card company they themselves are credited in full (£358) So morally speaking the credit card don t suffer

Pension Scammers, I do not know where they are obtaining phone numbers from as I have never provided this to LinkedIn... When I asked where they obtained my phone number and disputed that they got it from LinkedIn and mentioned that they have probably broken the law to obtain the number, they informed me that I shouldn't have put my phone number online (which I replied I haven't) and put the phone down on me...
