Was apparently regarding an 'accident'. Caller stated abruptly "when did you have your accident?" before I even fully answered. I said to them I didn't catch what they said, "We're calling to confirm your accident?", to which I said "No. No accident". They said "Okay bye" and abruptly hung up. This person claimed to be an officer calling from 'the HMRC' claiming that I had paid insufficient tax- revealed apparently after a 5 year audit (I owed £3999.99 allegedly). This wasn't true of course. DO NOT EVEN SPEAK TO THESE PEOPLE. Do not transfer ANY money. They will try and prove themselves by calling you back on a number that IS the HMRC number but this of course has been manufactured!
