The number 0800 852 190 has called me several times in recent months. I had a call today telling me that I had a virus on my computer and that the caller could fix it - he had all my Talk Talk details. I asked him for a number so that I could verify he was genuine - he gave me the number 02031294098 - and the name Paul Watson - which was strange as he was Asian and that is a very English name! Anyway Talk Talk verified that they would never call with this information - so it is a scam - don`t give any information away.

I receive at least one call from this bunch of charlatans every day and have done so for months - I block one number and the next day they call from a different one, all with a Manchester code. Sometimes they are silent calls and sometimes they hangup as soon as I ask them anything. Sometimes I will have 2 or 3 calls after I have told them to stop calling me and have blocked the number (I can see who has called from my log!) This is now harassment and must be illegal as my number is registered with the TPS!
Supposed to be a Government department suspending my NI number - yeah, right, it was a computer generated voice!
