Our number is registered with the TPS. This call came at 09:50 on Monday. Recorded (or synthesised) Northern English (Huddersfield?) male voice. Claimed to be calling from Amazon about illegal/suspicious "activity on your account", as a result of which a charge of over £1,000 to "the card linked to the account" had been stopped. They are (maybe!) Friends Provident. I have no pension or investment associated with this company. Cold calls are generally unwanted and I certainly do not want to keep receiving calls from a Company (is it?) which ignores the fact that I am registered for no marketing calls.
Total fraud!!! i have never entered a competition, I have never received a text!! Will cancel a £2000 per annum contract with Vodafone unless they refund these £4.50 entries. This only started the day I received my new phone from Vodafone. I believe this may have been preloaded software on a new handset. My contract is with Vodafone, I pay them!!
