An offer is made to check and replace the loft insulation, to then be charged for work that is simply not required.

SCAM - Pretending to be Microsoft and they download Anydesk on your PC, run some commands and show you the "threats" on your PC. They then run something that shows banking details and they direct you to go to your online banking so they can assist in fixing your security with your banking. (I am in IT and an elderly customer got tricked by this).
SCAM, claiming to be HSBC saying you have made a payment to someone with a link to an illegitimate counterfeit website. I do not bank with HSBC either

Just received a call from this number asking if we take American Express - I advised no and asked what company they were from assuming it was a customer. He just said he was exploring opportunities for points on his cards. This number appears to be associated with American Express but it would be nice if they were honest about the reason for their call. Call back not possible as I would have asked to be removed from their database.
Didn't leave a message. No idea who it is, not going to call back.

I know realise it s another company asking me to make a claim. I have had numerous calls from these company s. And have told them all I cannot claim. UK (not sure why it comes up as Hanoi on here!) - Worldwide scam phonecall from DHL in the UK spoofing the actual DHL customer service number so it looks/sounds legit, automated Chinese voice asking you to press 9 to speak to someone regarding a parcel, then repeats the message in Chinese.
