Has rung 3 or times a day for several days. Initially I refused to answer as it was an unknown number and never left a message. Then one brief message was left, merely asking for my name but not announcing who was calling, so I have answered twice since, thrash it out with them and get them to leave me alone but each time it has been total silence. A call centre in Bridgend, judging by the code.

It is a PPI claims company. They were very persistant when I spoke to them. I asked them to stop calling, but they have continued. Blocking the mumber is complicated by the fact that they use several lines, so the last 4 digits keep changing.

I asked him why no security? He said he was regulated by OFCOM and not allowed to take any personal details. Cam call from a company called Alliance Hide Solutions (or Alliance Hive Solutions?) about a non existent car crash. I am on the TPS (Telephone Preference Service) which should prevent scam calls. Where do these people get out telephone numbers from? So annoying. Harassment.
