Got a call today from some guy asking for me by name (which I didn t acknowledge - I never do.) Asked for me by name and said they were from Legal & General in regards to my life insurance policy and a possible reduction due to COVID. As soon as I said are you sure since I know I don't have a policy with them they just hung up.
Company called "Pension report team" wanting to know if I had a frozen pension. Not only did I not acknowledge my name when they rang but I immediately launched into an attack on them. Told them they were a scam company and on the FCA blacklist, at which point the caller said he would remove me from their call list and hung up. Don t be afraid to attack them first!
