I had a missed call from this number on my mobile but no message left. Also similar number called me recently, probably the same marketing company? Both the same range, 0120280609x - don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active... People please did someone answer it? Who is behind this number?

Sounds like a woman pretending to be there but I think it’s a recorded message about an accident. Told them I was on TPS but don’t think I was actually talking to someone.

100% trustworthy because no-one has said otherwise yet????? Thats hardly a way to grade something. Maybe its 100% Scam but no-one has said otherwise. Other websites say its Indian call centres asking for details claim to be EE or o2 or Virgin so that doesnt sound very authentic does it - and if you havent asked for Indian call centres to call you its spam and a likely fraud

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing - scam PPI calls. Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs for just ringing you and left no message (other than scam...)? If this was a silent call for you, do not call back for any reason! Something about compensation for an accident - shame last one I had I was not even there - my car was so of course I was really hurt . Told them to go forth and multiply everywhere and now they are blocked.

I rang the number from a different phone to the one they called and reached a recorded message saying it was First Call Group or something similar, and advising to send them an e-mail with phone and e-mail details so they wouldn't contact me again. I've added the number to my blocked list on my mobile and left it at that.

this number sent me a text saying that I had won 486000 pounds and asked me to send personal details by text reply. you'd have to be pretty gullable to fall for that.
