I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Received malicious phone calls several times with the same message. Recorded message saying phone and internet will be disconnected tomorrow as our IP address has been used to hack a government website (because thats believable). It said if we don't call an 0161 number (i didn't even bother getting the rest) our internet and phone line would be cut off despite saying the exact same thing the day before and surprise surprise im here using the internet right now? Blocked number being able to contact us again.

Answered the phone as the call was from 0117 Bristol code. I am waiting for an appointment to go for radiotherapy in Bristol so I was keen to answer the phone, but it went dead as I answered I then tried redial using 1471 option 3, as I was anxious but the number came up as I’ll obtainable so its obviously a spam call which was very annoying

I called the Halifax on a safe number known to me to check out this number in question. They were not very helpful or interested, did say when they last called me, which didn't match these calls, so I said will they investigate this number and the reply was, Oh there are a lot of calls made making out they are from the Halifax, just use number on the back of your card. Answer call and silent. Then when I called back saying I had a missed call from them they were pretty hostile. No clue what’s going on with the number
Caller claimed to be calling about a Amazon parcel. I have not ordered anything from Amazon so hung up strait away when they wanted payment £300 plus. Obviously a scam.
