Abel and Cole -- I used to be a customer and they were really good but my job means that I cannot be around to receive the goods on a regular basis so I cancelled. They can't seem to accept this and keep phoning me to see if I have changed my mind so Im marking them as harassing as I am getting regular calls and in spite of asking them to stop they dont. and Im jolly well cheesed off. .

It's a home appliance insurance scam. They called my elderly mother and tried to make her think it was her existing insurance company but it's actually a fak-ish looking company called J&L Home Assist. They tried to get my mum to hand over her bank details and persisted even when she said she wasn't comfortable doing that. A bit of investigation reveals that there are a number of similar fake companies doing the same thing, all claiming to be in the Bournemouth area.
This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked
