Yet another fecking recorded caller in a robotic voice saying that " there has been a FRAUD ticket marked against you. If you do not press 1, then we will assume you want to be arrested and the police will come to your home and arrest you." Or something along those lines. Same crap, probably from the same office, same people (if you can call them that), on a different number. Just hang up on these wasters of Oxygen.
Got letter from these people LCS, saying they were acting on behalf of HMRC and I owed them around £256.45p...something like that...I believed them because I do owe ...

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. 26 Nov 2021 - Man with thick, asian accent called me, purporting from a company called "White Goods Repair" based in Luton, telling me that my Indesit washing machine warranty had expired and did I want to extend it. a message was left on my voicemail by this number actually talking to another caller the calls must have crossed at exactly the same time so I recorded their call. It was an Asian voice stating they were from the Government Grants Office and we were obviously both entitled! Utter rubbish I would not be entitled and I heard the other caller saying she would not be entitled to it so not to waste either of their time.
SPAM I kept getting calls from this number and then a doggy voicemail saying we will take legal action. The voicemail sounded like a robot.
