Scam texted me saying ‘Hi mum I'm texting you off a friends phone l've smashed mine and their phones about to die, can you WhatsApp my new number +447732570098’ Defo a scam I have no children

SCAM automated voice saying that they are from The National Crime Agency and are going to suspend my NI number.

Received a text from this number: The banks are refunding customers who have paid monthly fee on packaged accounts, act now for your refund by replying BANK or stop to opt-out

Don't get a moment just keep phoning..

They claim to be from the Car Phone Warehouse, told them they can't beat my contract and gave them a bullshit amount of 3 pounds a month and they said "They could beat it" clearly a Scam Call Centre. Phone was static noise and barely could hear the caller who had Delhi accent.. Avoid!

I received a call today from this number. They knew my name and told me they were ringing about my computer and that someone had tried to hack into it twice. I responded by saying no one tried to hack into my computer and how did you get this number and they hung up. This was clearly a scam but the scary part about it was that I could hear he was in a call centre.

Called 18:26 Sunday evening, no answer.

Text supposedly from my bank, claiming that my debit card had been used for £2449.00 on Amazon. Gave this number as a contact for the fraud team... I didn’t bother calling as this isn’t the correct fraud team number

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked
