Apparent unsolicited mortgage marketing call. They identified themselves as "Mortgage Review". Refused to answer my questions about who they were and what they wanted and why they had called, insisting I should identify myself first. They then tried to get me to put my wife on the line, becoming more and more irate. I would expect legitimate callers to identify themselves and their business before demanding information.

Spoke to me by name , asking if I remembered filling in a "health survey last year" I said no I did not .. They then said ok and hung up ... ! Where did they get my name and number from as I am x directory and I am very careful about giving out

Agree with previous commenters. I purchased guttering from them about 10 years ago. Only used them because they had a very long warranty. I also got them to quote for a kitchen about 5 years ago as, they claimed that I would get a preferential discount as I was an existing customer. They were quoting i.r.o. £15K at the time and other reputable companies were between £6K and £9K. Guess which quote I eventually went with? Suggest they are short of work as currently I get at least one call from them each wee

01986684739 Caller (Paul Smith) with a very strong indian accent, claimed to be from Virgin Media technical team - did not do any security. Asked me what colour light was on WiFi box. I asked him why no security? He said he was regulated by OFCOM and not allowed to take any personal details. This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. As people do search for this number, it should be used, so be aware.
