Apparently this number belongs to a firm that has accused people of having debts when they do not, but just as many people have picked up the call to be greeted by silence. I get calls from criminals trying to get information daily so have stopped answering when I do not recognise the calling number.

My solution is to leave my BT Aura answering machine on receive, and note my caller display before picking up the phone...... my friends wait to see if I answer, and knowing that all Incoming recorded messages are completely garbled and indecipherable, and that I will use 1471 and ring them back when I m available, they don t waste their time and money trying to leave a message. I have just one button to press if I wish to delete nuisance messages, doing so gives me great pleasure, and saves me from hav

Just received a call from this number. Guy in a busy call centre said he was calling about mis-sold finance or payment protection insurance prior to 2011. Said I d never had anything on finance, and the guy said he would remove my details from the database. In reality this just means they won t phone you again for that particular campaign, but you can guarantee your details are not deleted. Scam callers trying to fish for banking details so they can rob you. Had multiple calls from this and similar numbers (ending 4301 to this 4309) all exactly the same, all late at night too between 7.30pm and 8.30pm, so not from a legit company as its illegal to phone you this late. I pretty much autoblock all 020 numbers now as they re always some kind of dodgy call centre trying to rob you. Blocked.
