Received malicious phone calls several times with the same message. Recorded message saying phone and internet will be disconnected tomorrow as our IP address has been used to hack a government website (because thats believable). It said if we don't call an 0161 number (i didn't even bother getting the rest) our internet and phone line would be cut off despite saying the exact same thing the day before and surprise surprise im here using the internet right now? Blocked number being able to contact us again.
SCAM Claims to be from O2 and sends texts messages during the call requesting that you tell the caller the code that is in the message for a 40% discount. An obvious scam, reported to NCSC and O2 as it looks like they’re trying to scam users into giving O2 account passcodes which is fraud. Kept her talking long enough for her to become quite rude and call me a liar, I’m not even with O2 so not sure why they’d target me, certainly not an O2 employee anyway.
I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing, no luck. People pls did someone answer this number, who is it?

The guy with moderate slavic/middle eastern blended accent insisted that trading stocks have no risk. That I'm not interested in that game at this time just wasn't accepted and I had to hang up to end the call when he was pushing to have me speak with a trader. As if I will take such a gamble with a cold call from overseas.
