Claimed our website has errors and asked to speak to someone in charge so I demanded details which she couldn t give, I kept her on the phone for a while (I was bored so thought I d wind her up a bit) told her not call again.

A man said "Yeahhh man I m from Microsoft". He told me my windows update wasn t working " at that point I told him I worked in IT and I know what i m doing and hung up. Do not let these people access your computer.

Called on Sat.19/9. Said it would take 2 mins. to do a survey. I agreed, but after c.6 mins. I told the Far Eastern-sounding man that his time was up and put the phone down. They then phoned back in ten mins and 1 hour later, but I didn t answer the phone. Accomplished liars irritants and time-wasters.

asked for my husband and said he'd call again. Put the phone down when I asked who he was.

Second call received from John at computer maintenance. First time when I told him that there wasn t a computer at this number he hung up, hoped this would deter further calls. But following day different time he phoned again told him that still didn t have computer and wanted to be taken off their database at which point he hung up. Waiting to see if they ring again.

its a scam don t reply, they want you to ring the bank because someone has tried to take funds out your account of ?1500. report to bank soon as possible if you give any details out so they can block your account. Don t give out any personal information out.

I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. I am surprised nobody else has clicked on to this yet......Doesn t sound too dodgy to me. Obviously Adrian has opted for no marketing calls from Carphone Warehouse themselves. This number calls me every day since i ask for details of accident i didnt have wich he cold,nt give so stupid me told him he woke me up for no reason as im on nights now thay w...

I ve been getting calls from these scammers for close on 6 months now, quite often twice a day. I tried reporting them to BT s nuisance call bureau and they tried to sell me a phone that block international calls!!! It s strange how BT outsources a lot of it s services to India , (BT customer services, etc) and the scamming calls are also coming from India? I ve even had one of these scammers say he was with BT Internet, instead of the usual "I m from Windows services" or "I m from Microsoft Windows service

Very bubbly sounding lady called Leslie, on a terrible line, called from this number. Claimed to be from some kind of insurance company, said the information had come from the "Road Traffic Accident Commission" or similar. Apparently I was in an accident that wasn t my fault. After asking her to repeat her company name, and pointing out that I hadn t had an accident, she hung up on me.
