Noticed a missed call from this number on an old mobile I d only recently put a brand new SIM into. This phone has never been used to make calls anywhere so either Tesco Mobile have started re-issuing old numbers or the calling company are chancers.
Claimed to be the National Crime Agency. I hung up

Called on my mobile to asked if I was interested in selling my business. I don t know how they got my mobile number.
Automatic message saying they are calling from HRMC and that if you don't press number 1 you'll be arrested. If you press 1 they put you on hold and then someone answers saying «HRMC how can I help you?». If you say «I don't know, you called me». Then they hang up. Probably they are trying to fish personal data.

Do not correspond with this person, do not provide any personal information and do not make any payments to what seems to be a legitimate booking through airbnb, tripadvisor or any other similar service.
I must have had ten calls this last week from a company calling themselves UK Preference. Today s number used was 01612228888. The voice was an Indian male and was very persistent talking over me when I told him to take me off their calling list and to stop calling me. Too long a pause to wait for an answer. After I received this call my virus protector warned me that my computer was connected to an unsafe wi-fi link. It definitely had been OK before. I don t know if there was any connection between these things but I would check your wi-fi after receiving it to be on the safe side
