Had a call from this number, identified itself as Humberside Police to my call barring service but then cut off when I tried to answer. Line went dead when tried to recall. Called police, they had no record of anyone trying to ring my number nor did they recognise this 56677 number. Suspicious, also nasty if it is a scam, as I am now worried about whether or not the police are trying to contact me for genuine reasons. Non English caller from sky about security on broadband. He hung up when technically questioned about this.

She said she was from CarPhone Warehouse. Knew my name. Tried asking me about paying too much for my current phone. Not been called by them before by them and don't have a phone from them. Might be a legit desperate sales call.

Junk call received from James said Motor Insurance Bureau passed my details to their company and was ringing to discuss accident. When I asked him to repeat his name he then hung up. Ambulance chasers.

These guys are a claims company that compensation back for PPI they are good to deal with and friendly.

They keep calling but as I don t recognise the number I do not answer and they don t leave a message. I have now blocked the number.

Phoned out blue, saying following up a previous enquiry I’d made once about investments. Said not a sales call but called themselves ?BT Marketing? I’m currently looki at investments. So let the call run. Pleasant polite lady. Asked if they could pass my details onto a tech investment firm, to send me more info. I felt extra info may be useful, so gave permission. However, contact info they had for me was a very old email address. She reassured me they would not pass my details to anyone else. (We’ll see).

Sneaky rats (Call centre) Liverpool based call center rerooting thier calls through the internet making it look as though somebody local is calling you the number is listed as bewdley which is local. I rang the number didn t catch thier name I asked if they were a cold call center she said yes and I could here in the back ground they were.the woman tried to justify why they were rerooting calls.

This is jigsaw24 technical support, it's easier to answer than ring back!
