This seems to be the latest scam whereby the caller tel no comes up as local to you and you answer assuming it s your dentist or child s school etc so 01525 is for Leighton Buzzard etc The give away is its always a scouser accent When you say hold on you are not a Leighton buzzard no they hang up They mentioned the accident I never had ... I was defrauded 10 thousand pounds by this number, they hacked my computer and online account, they put fake screens on my computer believing that they had paid incorrect compensation to me which looked legit on my online banking, except the screen I was seeing was fake and the were transferring money out my account
For the past week they ve been ringing me every day. When you say you re not interested then they are like are you not interested in making X amount of money in your spare time and all that crap. I politely told them to stop calling me and take me off the list. All the other calls I have given them a big F off.
