They claimed I had a small balance with them and they wanted to refund it to me, I said I have no knowledge of an account or refund due. They then said i would get an sms from my bank and i should read them the authorisation number and I will get the refund. An sms did come through and when I looked closer it was a messag

Asked for Mrs XXX, based on name in phonebook. Mrs XXX doesn t exist as I, Mr XXX s wife, have never used his surname and we ve used this number for 18 years. Claimed to be from a local building firm calling about our roof. We live in a block of flats. When I challenged caller about our number being registered with TPS he got angry and eventually hung up.
