Call received regarding the 20 interest I paid to the HMRC for my PPI claim that I should be able to claim backquot Woop Woop the excitement I felt was a big fat ZERO as I have never made a PPI claim and if I did should the company I did the claim with not contact me to arrange the refund to me I advised the lovely lady who loved calling me Ms Amanda that I am not interested in the scam or in giving them any of my bank details and to remove me from the database immediately

SCAM - Automated Robot voice claiming to be from the UK Inland Revenue (HMRC), demanding an instant phone call back. HMRC never do anything like that - they are slow and meticulous, doing everything in legal writing, never by phone. This is clearly a SCAM.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1618144xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI claims, financial services, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
