I ignored lots and when I did answer the woman wouldn t say who she was, but wanted all my details? Fishy!! When I asked how she got my number she hung up but unfortunately this didn t stop them from ringing again so I ve now blocked the number.

This is a call centre based in Wales who were calling on behalf of the Vote IN campaign for the British European Referendum. The number they use has been spoofed using illegal equipment to change the number from its true origin. I have been informed from a friend who is one of the chief engineers at BT headquarters in Martlesham Suffolk that this practice is illegal as it interferes with BT's telephone exchange network.
