Appears on Virgin mobile accounts charged as a premium text which you haven't made. Then refunded. Query to Virgin gets the reply "I'm really not sure what's happened with the texts. So we can take a closer look for you, please give us a call on 789 or 0345 6000 789 and we'll get on the case." Still not sorted a year later! they have admitted its an error on their part which is immediately rectified. I assume they mean the refund. Unsatisfactory really.

I got a text that showed as Virgin Media about a non existent delivery by Yodel of a non existent order? There was no contact or tracking but tried to reply (text failed and mobile dropped call). I did a search and got the thread about Virgin and Yodel. Total waste of my time as we have not been a Virgin customer for st least 10 years!!! I was worried someone was ordering stuff using my (old) credentials!!!

Fraud Caller says they are from the fraud department of your credit card. They then say they are checking on a suspicious transaction which is bogus of course. They say they will block the account but only once they email you a one time pass code which they want read back to them. It’s a scam and was confirmed by the genuine fraud department once I called them.
