Unpleasant man by the name of Russell called from Weathershield -said calling from Ludlow. I asked why calling when our number is registered with the TPS. He said they don t have to check, TPS are supposed to do it for them! I asked for our number to be removed from their database. He became most aggressive and unpleasant saying that he would keep the number on the system and call me every day. When I rang the number back a very faint answer message announced it was Weatherproof UK Ltd.

SCAM This is a call centre saying it is a courtesy call due to an appliances warrantee expiring, on this instance it was a washing machine, so quite believable. They wanted £65 per year for another 3 years full cover. Caller with indian accent gave a fake name and claimed to be calling from BT Broadband. He said there were hackers using my wifi according to messages on their server. He then tried to scare me in to giving him access to my computer. He was obviously trying to scam me as I don t have an account with BT. He hung up on me when I wouldn t let him access my computer.
