Mistakenly answered - it simply clicked off - presumably adding our number to endless harrassers' databases. Luckily, another call I'd missed is also now continually dialling dailly (despite answering), so I can safely (once more) ignore them all. I remember when the phone used to be a means of communication, rather than intrusion - targeting the most vulnerable. This one's probably dangerous.

Man with an unidentifiable accent garbled something against a cacophony of background noise sounding like the Call Centre from Hell. I asked him to repeat his sentence. SCAM - Just had a call saying they were contacting me about upgrading my phone, so I wasn't best pleased about being disturbed when I'm not feeling well with a very heavy cold. I knew it was a scam straight away as there was no link to my existing provider, so I informed the caller of that and told him to "Bu**er off"! Suggest others do the same.
