Received a call 1:45 pm, Monday 15 Nov 2021 from 02045 201670. As I was eating lunch let the answerphone answer the call. No message left so conclude either a spam call or cold call.
SCAM Claiming to be from criminal investigation claiming my national insurance number has been stolen blah blah blah, stop calling me. Blocked 3 different number now!!!

Indian call centre purportedly from Openreach wanted control of my computer to speed it up - kept caller[s] talking for 6 mins to take up their time and protect others. Reported to Action Fraud.

Asian lady, who I couldn't understand, claiming to be from the government department claims advisory group. Apparently they had a cheque to send me for overpaid bank charges. Told her to send it to me, but she wanted my DOB. When challenged that surely they knew this as they had my name and number and address etc, then they must already have my DOB, she said it was for verification, at which point I thanked her for the call (it included a few expletives) and hung up. Do not engage with them.

Recorded message, telling me that I was the homeowner - I pressed 2 and Wayne From Energy Care answered. He asked me if I was the homeowner and as soon as I said no he hung up without apologising for phoning a number that is registered with TPS or offering to stop interrupting my activities.

Calling every day, sometimes more than once. Don't know who they are because unless they give their name my phone (with nuisance blocker) doesn't even ring. So it must be an automated call otherwise they'd stop trying. Love my phones - these nuisance calls are a thing of the past. I only look occasionally to see if one number has been repeatedly calling / and this one has.
