Same as previous. Claimed to be HMRC, claimed a lawsuit was being taken out against me and to press to speak to case officer. Put phone down. worrying thing is i have been on the HMRC website recently doing self assessment etc. Coincidence???

I answered this call got a lady voice very quickly saying 'hello, this is (couldn't make it out) from (again couldn't make it out) then immediately I was put on hold with music playing. At this I immediately hung up.
After picking up the call there was a long delay before they answered. On answering it is blatantly obvious you're talking to a computer generated voice.

Claimed to be from National Insurance Bureau and that I had been in an accident and I had ?3-4K to come as compensation. Foreign accent very difficult to understand. Very insistent bordering on unpleasant. Was on Gumtree yesterday posting an ad, sounds likely from other comments that they got my number from there.
