Anonymous hang-up calls to my mobile. Trying to call the number back results in failed calls. Not sure how they got my mobile number, but calls are unwelcome and I don t respond to telephone spammers.

RAC called to check if I m aware my breakdown cover will lapse today. Even after advising that I was happy letting it lapse there was no hard sell, no pressure.

There are a lot of "You've won xxx" type scams ranging from vouchers to holidays. Put the phone down and block the number.

If you a BT phone put in 1572 option 1 it will block future calls you need to press the 1 two times but instructions given on phone to block
