I get calls from this number, when I asked where they got my number from was told the standard lie "opt-in data" or "they bought a list of numbers". These people are liars as they wanted to help me reclaim money IF i had taken out any credit - I have never taken out any credit so they are just trying their luck and calling anyone and harrassing them. Fraud Call was recorded message purporting to be from Amazon and saying that payent of £399 had been taken for my order, if I did not authorise this press 1. So hung up, so obviously a fraud. Caller ID on phone showed a local geographical number, most likely that this was fake. Telecoms companies should have a way of identifying the origin of these calls and should really address this lawbreaking, ie conspiracy to commit fraud.
Like others, I too have contacted a couple of Land Rover dealers lately regarding a new car. I believe it is linked with them. Tried calling today but it just rings continuous...

An aggressive and persistent man called Solomon cold called and said he had information that we were paying too much for our phone and got quite angry and indignant when I said I was reluctant to swap from BT to National Business. I hung up and wish I hadn t bothered to listen in the first place.

Slightly Indian sounding Woman called "Len" claiming to be from BT and asking for an email address to send information to. When I ask for her email address so I could allow it through our spam filters, she repeated she wanted my email address. I repeated I wanted her email address... she hung up. Time-wasting idiots, We don t even have any BT lines.
This company is called trades under various names including UClaim4Me,UManage4me,TheUGroup,Umanage,USave4me. Company registered under Patshull Owen Associates Ltd Wolverhampton. Why pay for one of these companies to claim any PPI back when all you do is write your own letter to your credit card company or bank.You get exactly the same back as if they had claimed on your behalf but they charge you for the privelage!
