Lied about being informed of my recent accident. TPS registered so they are acting illegally.

I thought this was a cold call. Not the case. It belongs to Gledhill boiler company, who were trying to contact me about an issue with my boiler. This is a Blackpool based company.

Kept calling frequently and hanging up or dead line upon answer - finally got a female asking to speak with DH about previous Boxing news subscription and he wasn t interested. She says "well I ll call back" before I could pleasantly tell her to remove the number she hung up. Still keep ringing and Sky scandalously want to charge £3.50 per month to bar it. Saw another user s helpful comment to change the call ID so we know to ignore it, so thanks for that bit of advice.

they said they were from ee net work but when I phoned my contract net work, they said to cancel any agreement I made with these people as they've never heard of them

straight scammers its an old scam - they claim to be service provider..tell that your computer is infected and its affecting "their servers" (sometimes they will navigate you to very unimportant "event viewer" warnings within your system, to try and "prove" this to you!!).. then try to have you download software that enables them to control you computer,and(or)have you download free antivirus then try to charge you. i have sometimes played along... as soon as they realize you are onto them - they will s

An Asian gentleman said he was from talk talk and needed to check my router. Asked for access to my PC which I reluctantly gave as he was able to give me part of my address and my talk talk account number. Offered me a refund of ?200 but I needed to access my bank account. He had control of my PC so I did not want to do this. Hung up on him as he was too persistent for comfort!!!
