Told him I am not with BT as they are useless but he insisted that all other providers use BT and it was up to them to sort out and stop all these other people using my internet I just need to start up my computer and allow their technician access to fix! Received a recorded call from this number regarding PPI, despite the fact that I have previously opted out by pressing 5 and registered with TPS. I have also reported this to TPS.

Do not know this number

This number appeared on my mobile as a forwarded call. I don’t have any calls forwarded to my mobile. This made me suspicious straight away. I didn’t answer the call. Apparently it is a loft insulation scam. They are after your details.

Fraudulent call centre(could hear this in the background) saying I had been victim of a fraud on my Amazon account which had had £1200 charged go the credit card linked to the account. Wanted me to push 1 or 2 etc to deal with the issue. I hung up but someone else may be duped by this type of con. Very angry that they can do this all the time.

Recorded message told me that £300 was going to be taken from my VISA Account and if this was not correct to speak to an agent

14 Dec 2021 - I got a call from 044 1235 590638 in India. I was dumb enough to dial back for the missed call number. I was placed on HOLD and no one answered my call for the 6 minutes of wait time. I would like to know if I have been scammed in anyway. Kindly let me know if you can. Reply

Called saying he was from Microsoft and I had a problem with my computer. When I repeatedly asked why he was calling he became very abusive. Caller had an Asian accent but knew some very offensive English words! I informed the police.
