Company apparently called Quigley & Carter using various mobile numbers to send spam texts. Today s text said "The Banks are refunding customers up to 2000 who have paid a monthly fee on packaged accounts, visit www.mybankrefund.com for your refund today or optout.cc" The website mybankrefund.com apparently belongs to Quigley & Carter and has the following text at the bottom of their website: Quigley & Carter Limited a company registered in England and Wales. Apparently I have a claim for my "accident" pending settlement - no accident, no claim - scammers - even more annoyed they are using a local number!!!

Call looks like a normal YK mobile number but in search it indicates that the number originates in Ahmedabad in India. As I don t know anyone from or in India I can only assume that it is a call from some call centre or a scam or perhaps both. Treat with suspicion.
