Called from a mobile and a machine told me I was going to lose some money if I didn't press 1 or 2. It seems Manchester has nothing better to do than all use mobile phones to scam hard working people from their money. SCAM!!!!!

Just took one of these calls. After reading from a script about a survey, they were polite enough to ask "Are you ready for the first question?". I replied "No!". They hung up :)

This phone number calls me every day at the same time but no one speaks! It has been happening for 2 weeks so far!
SCAM robo call saying that there has been possible fraudulent activity on my bank account. When I questioned them they refused to say what bank they were, and that they were the 'fraud department'. They got angry so I called them out as the scammer they are and according to the scammer all UK people are idiots. Have reported it to action fraud.

I got some harrassment calls from time to time. So I devised a script which I copy and paste. Feel free to do the same. Asian guy asking me about my postcode. After repeated asking what call was about he says he s from the HR of UK. Then when pressed he says it s for a company with similar name as the one I work for! Then starts asking about what mobile phone I prefer. Hung up! Total scam!
Recieved a text claiming to be from Lloyds stating that my card was used online at DHgate.com for £2048.48 and the payment was declined. 1. The card that was queried was cancelled a week ago 2. I m in Scotland. I received a call from this number while I was at work...couldn t answer. I called back several times, but the line just sounds dead...three beeps. I ve had this kind of thing before from different numbers..usually a PPI-related call. I ve probably missed out on an amazing cash flow injection into my bank account, a once-in-a-lifetime sales opportunity or a fantastic holiday to the Bahamas. But for now, I ve just saved the number as Crank Call and I advise you do the same.
