Wanted to know if I would qualify to trade with them - wanted my oersam information

Call received 12.2.2021 at noon, purporting to be from my Internet provider informing me that my service was to be stopped within a couple of hours owing to illegal activity on my line. Wanted me to press a button to obtain more info. Utter tosh and I ignored it.

Don't part with any personal information, they try their best to convince you they are genuine. I know what I'm doing and I don't need an idiot to help me no matter how good you think you may be! Eventually they hung up!!

Called using my first name only (overly familiar I find). I asked where they got my number and the man didn't answer, just said they were calling about life insurance on behalf of Lloyds, Scottish Widows to name two that I remember. I said I don't engage in conversations about any such matters on the phone and asked them to take my number off their list and hung up. Have blocked number.

Day after day this number calls from the reviews it says life insurance. I've got some don't need anymore. Go Away!! 0161 is Manchester that's all I know.

Please please if anybody else has charges from these numbers contact the communication ombudsman. currently according to o2 they are aware of this scam but refuse to be held responsible for just handing over money to scammers without contacting me. Just to note if it were your bank they would contact you about fraudulent activity, put a stop to the charges and refund you. O2 refuses to do any of this. They can only block the number but say that this may not stop them. Hopefully with enough complaints we can

This was an unsolicited call which I let go to ansafone the message started automatically - It appears to be a scam call (not mentioning your name, but saying HMRC has taken out a lawsuit under your name & an arrest warrant has been issued under your name & urging you to press 1 to speak to your case officer ( a case number KN01297 is quoted & you are urged to press 1 to speak to the case officer) - Typical of the types of scams used against older people

Some landline from London area, this is definitelly some call centre, there are more similar numbers reported for calling people. Have seen different reasons of individual calls, just be aware that one number used by the same call centre can be after short period of time used for another purpose. I recommend to block the whole 2036342xxx range... Did someone answer THIS number?

Fraud, recorded message plays stating "This is HMRC. There is a FRAUD listed against your name. Please press 1 to discuss with us and allow us to investigate". Needless to say, I did not press 1 and just hung up.
