Do not call them back whoever it is - you will pay for it. Tell me why companies still use payed lines for telemarketing (some other reason than scam?)... Yesterday, I was applying for job on many web sites. they called me today and told me that my cv was nt enough professional. and they proposed to help me make a professional cv and deliver it on internet .... etc but what shocked me more is the fact they asked me to pay for that service emidiatly, and I have to pay to get registred. so I felt that there is a secret and that they want to rubb my money. so I ll not give any identity of my payement card.
Man called telling me he was my broadband provider and that my line was being hacked. Very aggressive, threatening tone of voice. Extremely argumentative when I suggested he was lying and told me I would be cut off if I didn't do what he said. Hung up and blocked the number but why can't these people be stopped? There are 100's of complaints about this number - why can't they be prosecuted for this intimidation?
