Only just reactivated my faithful old w995i, it s been on 5minutes and this numbers tried to call me. I didn t answer as everyone on my contacts list knows I use a different number, it s not the first time they ve called but I m on Orange not Vodafone??

This is a fake number used by scammers to try to get personal information about you. They sound very official and scary, suggesting legal action against you. I inadvertently provided them with my name, National Insurance number and name of bank before I realised that it was a phishing attempt. The caller spoke with a slightly American accent. I tried to call the number back, but it's invalid.

SCAM / SPAM They claimed to be looking into some fraudulent activity attached to my insurance number. When I asked if they could provide me with my insurance number, they hung up. They had a long spiel about how my insurance number had been used to hire a boat (!?) and found blood and cocaine on this boat later or something like that. Big accusations, clearly nothing to back it up.

Caller was an Indian man giving the name of James from a “health” company- have had similar calls before from different numbers so obviously a call centre, want to know details of your vaccination status, etc, then ends up with a “life cover review” and asks you to accept new life cover from them. Caller did not like fact I knew this and I immediately said I am not looking to review my life cover, he told me to “grow up” and hung up!

A robot saying there was a warrant for my arrest due to my "tax evasion". The robot informed me I would be arrested if I did not press one. Pressed one as a joke to see what would happen - they put me in hold and then a man answered. Scam, this number has been calling non stop but never answered as it comes up as smap call, Anyway after another call ???????? I answered it. They started asking for my full name, address, bank ect ect which I would not give them, i asked to speak to a manager to say stop calling, they put me on hold, I wait 15mins before I gave up. This is 100% a scam trying to get all your details. Would not say what company they worked for. So they are blocked and cannot leave anymore voicemails.
