Asked me to confirm details which I wasnt willing to do and then tried to sell me the old ppi speech said I wasnt interested and then hung up. BNRoptions I never answered but somehow they had my work email address and they emailed me. they called twice in a row. Basically some financial investment nonsense.

Mithering constantly and hang up when I answer so I ve had to ring them back to get them to remove me from their list, it ll either work or make it worse for me!!! I m being harassed 4-5 times a day every day by tons of different companies, I m getting sick of them now!!!

After being scammed before are very wary of cold calls and scams. However, this one was picked up without really looking or thinking but I must say this seems a dangerous one because this did sound almost genuine with (as above, claiming to be HMRC). In our case, the line just went dead after it told us to press one to speak to an officer. This is one that could catch unexpecting people out so be careful! We keep it as rule that if in any doubt, ONLY answer numbers that are 0800 or gov numbers (030) unless
