This number connects to a company claiming to be HMRC but you cannot call this number it will call u and connect. They will say you have outstanding tax due and try and get a payment from you over the phone.. they will even send emails with fake letters from the revenue to back there case. These are scammers.....

Enjoyed stringing him along, the man from First Response / MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau) I asked if he meant the Men In Black, as he was calling to see if my RTA had been sorted out, I asked which one he was referring to as I said I have had few LOL, he couldn t give the information he was referring to but said in the last 2.5 years. These people are actually the TV Licensing debt department don t be fooled by them. tell them you don t watch live TV also tell them not to be sending anyone to your door.
Advised they were from the National Crime Agency and requested i selected and option. Sounded suspicious so i hung up. Nothing reported previously. NCA confirmed it's a scan and they are aware.

I have had repeated call about 10 per day from the same number, 2 types of calls 1. as per above , that i owe money on credit cards 2. that the government has set up an scheme where they are freezing monthly interest payments on CC or store cards and if you have these cards you can just make a monthly payment to them instead . as i am a financial advisor i keep them talking for ages (appearing to be a bit non financial) after all it runs up their phone bill, then i wrap them in knots using my knowledge,

***Fraud*** Asian runt called saying they were Carphone Warehouse with offers for EE, O2, Vodafone and Three. Told the runt that I work for Carphone Warehouse and we no longer offer EE, O2 or Three (haven't offered Three since around 2010!!).
