Hi this number just called saying they are HMRC related & investigation a tax fraud in my name
SCAM Didn't actually receive a call, but an advertising card popped through my door today offering part-time work delivering leaflets. Good money paid, apparently. The email address shown was 'bakoos.in' suggesting that it was based in India, however it appears to be a Russian phone number! The Royal Mail's website cannot find any reference to the phone number, so to my mind it is a serious attempt at a scam and is best avoided.
Fraud Claimed to be a trading company, didn't specifiy which one - asked about my trading account.... have had 6 calls within the last week

I've had a call from this number claiming they are from my bank Halifax, i notice the area code is Halifax but i'm not sure if this is a scam call.

Received a recorded message alledgedly from the National Crime Squad Agency advising that my National Insurance Number had been involved in fraudulent activities - press 1 to speak to an officer....... As it has come from a mobile number I doubt very much this is legit so will follow this up with the Gov website & correct channels.

SCAM Some "Learning centre" Indian gentleman talking super fast so you can't understand everything he's saying. Hung up after I asked how he got my number as I'm on TPS. He hung up. My phone is already registered and I stopped receiving any calls, however I did have an accident nearly three years ago, in the last few months I have been getting these calls. Apparently my details are available on an insurance database available to these companies. I simply ranted down the phone that they were breaking the law as my phone is registerd against these calls, have taken the details, will be suing for harrasment and reporting, then put the phone down. always feel bett

Very likely that this is a re-routed number from an India call centre. Female with accent tried to sell me warranty for a washing machine and couldn't answer when I asked for a manufacturer.
