Got this call today, pension, under 60, £1,000 blad blad blad, total scam and I just hung up, checked the map where the call might come from and it shows a street called Lloyd St. in Manchester, near, in or beside a pub called the Old nags head.

saying they are from talktalk and they have "detected problems with my router". Every time they ring the number changes slightly so you can t tell they ve rung before. I was called today by this company and found out who they were (on here). I promptly phoned their 0845 number and requested that they remove me from their database. I explained that I had caller preference and threatened to report them to Ofcom. The interesting thing is that they asked me if I knew a certain person (who they mentioned by name). This person was clearly the person they were chasing for the debt but I had never heard of her. They state on their website that they are they work ethically, honest
