Rang last night, Indian voice, said government owed me substantial money from a bank account who overcharged me. Wanted account number etc to pay money in.....as if.... I said this was a scam and she slammed hound dow. It appears to be fromScotland.

Asian lady, who I couldn't understand, claiming to be from the government department claims advisory group. Apparently they had a cheque to send me for overpaid bank charges. Told her to send it to me, but she wanted my DOB. When challenged that surely they knew this as they had my name and number and address etc, then they must already have my DOB, she said it was for verification, at which point I thanked her for the call (it included a few expletives) and hung up. Do not engage with them.

Hmm, this number is used by the LBM Intelligent Contact - this company works as a Call centre of a general use, mostly for big mobile players (O2, Orange, Vodafone, Sky). In most cases they are a legitimate callers, but many users just reported them as an unsolicited call. You possibly know the right words, they may also not be of Uk Ethnic origin, so tell them what they are. Remember they cannot report you!

last few nights I got many calls( to Russian phone) from this number and few other numbers( Switzerland, new Zealand), when I picked up they just hang the phone, but if do not reply calls continue many times what and again.

Rang my work place.On answering and stating where I work I got a very curt goodbye from an indian sounding female.
