I was called on my mobile by this number on Friday morning 22/11/13 - they hung up when i answered. They rang back late afternoon - but i was in the pub and it was a bit noisy so i went outside but the christmas lights were being turned on in Kikby town centre and there was lots of noise - music, kids etc.. so it was noisier outside the pub than inside. On second reading - definitely - it is one digit short to be a genuine UK number.

Recorded message from a woman with an American accent pretending to be calling from HMRC, telling us or our solicitors to call her back or face legal action if we ignore the call. The call was made from the phone number she was telling you to call back on.

Repeated calls from EE trying to sell new phone deals, tablets and broadband. EE is my provider and mine is a TPS number...they ignore this and still the calls keep coming....

Claimed to be the NAS (national advice service) asked if I had worked in an industrial enviroment, said no the girl on the end of the phone said "oh ok and hung up" total cold calling spammers. Also on YELL.com the phone number appears to belong to Your Claim Lawyers 120 Bark St, Bolton, Lancashire, BL1 2AX.

Just received a call from this number asking if we take American Express - I advised no and asked what company they were from assuming it was a customer. He just said he was exploring opportunities for points on his cards. This number appears to be associated with American Express but it would be nice if they were honest about the reason for their call. Call back not possible as I would have asked to be removed from their database.

Scam doesn t seem to be legit

Just been called by this number to inform me my emails are being used by someone in the usa and if I follow his instructions through my computer we can solve this together. Bloody nice chap! However I do know that once connected to your computer they can lock you out unless you make payments to them. SCAM me thinks. Ew, just got a call from them. They just small talked me for a bit and when I said I was busy and hung up, the manager called me back! I cut him off, told him to not call again, and hung up. Hopefully they leave me alone and don t continue to call as others on here have said.
