Claiming to be from Outfox, actually SMS trying to force a smart meter on me
I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. I had my details sold by Car Phone Warehouse, after buying phones....... told ICO hope someone does something as in their terms and conditions there is wording relating to this, but no opt in or opt out..... it s just wrong, I pay for a service, a phone and then they sell my details on.... why .... never ever have I had such texts/ calls as I do now all within a day of purchasing something from their site...

Just taken a call and was told I had apparently been involved in a road traffic accident in the past 2 years. News to me of course....I queried where they had got my number from...
Accepted the call but didn t say anything, the automated system waits for the word "Hello" before reeling off their rubbish to you. The call stayed silent before cutting itself off. Added this number, along with a few others, to my SPAM entry in my address book.

Received several telephone calls from this number, Kilmarnock number but said they were based in Glasgow and working on behalf of trust deed Scotland, asked me about any unsecured debts I have. I have none. They said that they would take me off their system. Don t know how they got my number, but they also knew my name. Very random. And annoying.
