SCAM - Claimed to be from Sky Broadband & hung up when challenged. It's possible the phone number is being hijacked as there were obvious 'internet phone' type delays in the conversation.

Just got a very strange call from this number saying it was hmrc and that I had been fraudulent ... and I needed to pay ... first they said £1900 then £1800 then £1700. They said if I didnt they would send the police to get me arrested ... he wouldnt give me any details of how they knew who I was and was quite bullying ... my hands are left shaking and then he put down the phone

Phoned to tell me my washing machine warranty has expired and they're sending me the new paperwork by Royal Mail. Read out to me my name and address and when I confirmed these was going to pass me to her "supervisor" to complete a form. Asked her to tell me what brand of washing machine I've actually got. Unsurprisingly she hung up. Don't know what the scam was going to be but clearly there is one

SCAM / SPAM - Tom from the UK Advisory Innovations Group called saying the loft insulation we've recently had installed has been found to cause condensation & mould problems and offering a free survey. (Note: we haven't had any loft insulation fitted in the last dozen years). He asked questions about whether I was over 60 and whether I had help with making decisions for the household. An automated female voice that purported to be calling from Amazon telling me that a certain amount of money would be taken by them from my bank account and if I wished to stop this then I needed to press a number on my keypad.

SCAM / SPAM Rings all telephone numbers in house simultaneously -- then tells me money has been taken out of my bank account for my Amazon Prime service. (Which I don't have.) SCAM: Supposedly from HSBC Bank, TEXT message alleging " A payment was attempted from a NEW DEVICE on (date-time). If this was NOT YOU, please visit (web address)" that looked like an HSBC one. Trouble is I don't have any Bank accounts ????

SCAM Received a text from this number claiming a new payee was set up on an HSBC account and if I want to cancel it to click on the supplied link. I received an identical text from a different number about a week ago, they are scams.
