SCAM supposedly from Vodafone but isn't - asks for payment
Very mumbled message saying from Western Union saying that a large sum , either £400 or £4000 had been taken from my visa account, and to go on to speak to someone by pressing a single digit number, Did not do this a seems odd, and probably a scam. Annoying but probably dangerous.
Purported to be from Amazon Prime re debit of £79.99 being made despite never having used Amazon. Assume scam and nothing to do with Amazon.

Extremely DANGEROUS automated message that said it was: Tax Revenue, that I Owed money to Tax Revenue, to press button 1 on handset, otherwise a warrant for my arrest would be issued shortly, and police would arrive to arrest me!

They will say you have outstanding tax due and try and get a payment from you over the phone.. they will even send emails with fake letters from the revenue to back there case. They left a 2 minute 30 second voice mail of people talking in the background with a heavy accent that I could not place. (They forgot to hang up.) I did recently register a new phone number and domain name for my business.

Called me twice. Line dead on answering. Probably trying to get me to call back so I incur massive charges.
Left two messages and asked to speak to a relation that has never lived here. I rang company and they asked if I had the same surname, told them I didn t, they asked if he had ever lived here, then asked for my home phone no. Gave it to her and she said that it had been deleted, I asked if they had my address, lady got very rude and told me not to worry about it anymore and then put the phone down. Why she should be rude to me I don t know. It my address that will have the bad debt attached to it.

Fraud SCAM The caller claimed to be from mobile phone promotion department offering a discount. I established that the caller was a fraud and called them out at which point they stopped being polite and friendly and began to taunt and be abusive. This call has been reported to the UK National Cyber Security Centre.
