Spoke very poor English, said she was from virgin media, wanted me to load a app on my phone. When I asked her why she hasn't asked me to confirm my password I have set on my account, surprise surprise she hung up. Sad sad scammers.
This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. See previous comment. These Jingly bar stewards just call a slightly different number making the BT call blocker a complete and utter waste of timer. BT are just a bunch of fraudsters as well and will do nothing to prevent these nuisance calls as are the Government and Offcom. Another valid point is that when someone states on their merchandise "STOPS UP TO 99% OF NUSIANCE CALLS" I would suggest that 1% is up to 99% and they should be prosecuted under the Trades Description Act.

These have been calling me non stop for days, the number comes up without the 0 at the beginning and when i tried to call it back i got an elderly lady who said i had rung her landline and she has had several calls from people asking her why she has rung them! SCAM "Visa / Mastercard" - obviously not ! Said £600.00 charge on my account from abroad. Sounded like an Indian Call Centre scam operation. Wanted my bank account details so they could stop the charge going through - how kind of them - but didn't know what bank ! Kept them on the line for a few minutes so one less person they can scam today before letting on that I knew they were scammers !

Threatened to disconnect landline & internet unless I pressed 1 on the keypad. It was a recording because it did not cut off when the answer machine kicked in. So beware, it is a mobile number and obviously they will not come on the line until 1 is pressed.
I had a missed call from this number on my mobile but no message left. Also similar numbers called me recently - all the same 019167402xx range - probably the same marketing company? I don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active...
