Had a request re government insulation recently fitted - this is not the case & declared they called the wrong number - clearly a scam as had no name for me either.

Tried to scam me by calling my phone and asked for my email address. Then I was told to check my email for a password to allow her to add me to her address list because she allegedly lost her list. When I checked the email message it was a code authorizing to reset my Facebook password, so I did not give the information. This person was even messaging in our native dialect. She avoided talking to me live though when I answered her call the first time, and just sent the message asking for my email.

Had a text telling me it was O2 wanting me to update my payment info, a scam methinks.

Rang and didnt speak then hung up after 3 seconds if that.

Car accident

got charged 17.50 for call did not make

"I've been informed that you've been involved in a car accident"

Could barely make out what the guy was saying in heavily accented English but sounded like UK Preference and said he wanted to ask marketing questions. Was at work so didn't proceed to give him the 60 seconds he requested.

SCAM / Spam says its HMRC going to issue arrest warrant...

Don't bother answering

Received multiple calls from this number to my Skype number. When I answered the call, the other end just hung up - robocall. When I called back, I got a recorded message: "You were called by Solar Panel Funding. If you do not wish to be called again, please press 1 or hold and we will connect you to the next available agent. " When I stayed on the line, the call was answered by a human "Hello. You're through to Eco-Telecoms. How can I help you."

Scammers harvesting victims' contact details via the phishing website stanleybonds.co.uk. They wear headsets so scream, shout, blow a whistle or turn on loud household equipment to show how much we love the scumbags!

SCAM - HMRC scam callers

Automated call claiming to be from Visa department asking me to press 1 if I have not charged £900 to my account.

SCAM - Recorded message warning that my National Insurance No will be withdrawn due to unethical financial transactions!

Man with foreign sounding accent called wanting to speak to the owner of the phone, I said "NO" so he asked if I was a family member, I asked why he wanted to know all this and that he was obviously up to no good and put the phone down. I am registered with the TPS so this call must be one of the "diverts" from outside the UK.. I suspect he would have been calling about internet problems etc. I am fed up of these calls. Recorded message, telling me my National Insurance number had been compromised, & I had to 'dial 1' or they would take action against me.

Cold called trying to flog loft insulation

02038095000 Someone called from that number and the auto sector said it was Ravenue. They threatened me with a court, a penalty for fraud and that I have to pay £ 2,000 now so you don't go to jail. The scammers sound professional at the beginning of the conversation, so be careful
