SCAM / SPAM HMRC calling for a fraud under my name. A recorded voice says ''you HAVE to press 1'' to speak with an operator. I didn't press 1 but I assume it's scam because it's not the first time I received a call like this.

07530836343 rang saying calling from my bank, I have two accounts and they did not say which, also rang on my landline which I rarely use. Told me there was suspect dealings and started asking questions. I don't think my bank would ring me from a mobile so I hung up.

Called and asked for my husband. I said not available. The very well spoken gentleman asked to leave his number. I asked what it was regarding and he said the estate of *****. I was instantly suspicious as I had not heard of the company in relation to the estate. So I said I hadn t heard of them, he said because we have been speaking to ******. I said no you haven t I don t know you and hung up. Total scan husband fuming!

Also getting calls from same number but ending 352. Left to answerphone, no message. Other, similar, numbers from this area code are reported as insulation scams, so that is a possibility.
I have no idea why but I am repeateadly getting texts from this number and it says it is from Lurid Nature, the msg says thank you for being our client and if you are interested in more offers please visit our webpage. Rang pretending to be from my bank - starts with an automated message stating a large amount of money has been requested from account & if not authorised, press 1. Person then answers but does not know name/details etc & tries to get you to give details. Be really careful with this number - clearly fraudsters/scammers.
