SCAM - Claimed to be from Sky Broadband & hung up when challenged. It's possible the phone number is being hijacked as there were obvious 'internet phone' type delays in the conversation.

A recorded message informed me that some fairly large debits had been made on my Barclaycard account and that I should press '1' immediately. (I didn't do so.) Checked my Barclaycard account and there is no sign of any such debits. I therefore concluded this was a scam.

Have received calls from this number to my mobile phone. There is no message left on voicemail. Calls have taken place once a month, always in the first few days of the month. Always around midday.
Claimed to be a policeman when clearly on a call centre type area. First thing he said was "I'm a police man, what's your name" when I asked why he was calling and why he wanted my name he just repeated the "I'm a police man".

Fraud SCAM Called me pretending to be from Amazon saying that someone had ordered an iPhone on my account. They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. Got quite upset when I refused to give them the code
I was called by someone calling himself "Yogi" allegedly from Carphone Warehouse and I renewed my contract through him with Vodafone. The incentive being a substantial cash back deal. The cheques never appeared and Vodafone do not know anything about the deal (so they say). Vodafone are refusing to honour the deal and I have reported them to trading standards and the communications commission as they are saying they cannot see on their system who renewed the contract. Missed call. Correlating the time and date past calls from this number suggests it's the Just Eat delivery service. However, in December 2021 I received two missed calls from this number even though I hadn't ordered anything that day.
Third time today (12/02/14) when I answered the phone, Silence, then they cut off the call.
