I don t know why they give out 0843 numbers because they all seem to be used for these types of premium rate scams. If you register for the non-existant prize draw you are charged huge sums for every message you get from them until all of your phone credit is gone.

NEVER had a problem with nuisance calls before - this number has just arisen out of the blue - clearly prats. Had a text message too valuing my house - WILDLY INNACURATE !!!!!

Called twice regarding a collision I never had. Got a bit uppity when I said I didn't know what she was talking about. Asked not to call again, but they did the following day!

Ring their phone: you ll find the voice message is by teenager who can barely read the script. The script is by someone who can t write - "If you have had A accident...". So if that s the effort and expense they re prepared to invest into making their first impression, imagine how diligent their customer service must be. Enough said.

Got a call from this number, the person added me on skype asking to place an ad on gumtree for them. Very pushy and harassing, went through with it as far as I could just for fun. Female caller from Energy Assessors UK (?) regarding energy efficiency in the home. I replied that our number is ex directory and TPS registered, so they shouldn t be calling us. This number also rang a few days ago, and I blocked it, but it still got through this time. Blocked again.

There is no simple way of verifying mobile numbers, many of them are unregistered on pay as you go tariffs. You will have to contact your customer and ask him to confirm his name.
